Change your pet's microchip address

If you move house or your contact details change, update the record with the database that currently holds your pet's microchip registration.

What to do

Step 1Find the microchip number from your certificate, vet records or pet passport.
Step 2Identify which approved database holds the record.
Step 3Sign in to that database or contact its support team.
Step 4Submit your new address, phone number or email address.
Step 5Keep confirmation of the update for your records.

What to have ready

  • Microchip number
  • Current keeper name
  • Old and new address
  • Current phone/email
  • Any registration certificate if available
PetChipHelp cannot edit the official record. The database operator must make or approve the change.
