The basic terms for using PetChipHelp guidance and any future assisted-help service.
Independent guidance
PetChipHelp provides general informational guidance and, where offered, case-specific organisational assistance. It is not an official microchip database, veterinary practice, law firm, police service or government body.
No authority to alter records
Only the relevant microchip database operator can register, transfer or change official keeper records. PetChipHelp cannot guarantee that a database will approve a requested change or accept particular evidence.
Your information
You are responsible for providing accurate information and for avoiding unnecessary sensitive data. Do not submit passwords, one-time codes or unrelated financial information.
Paid services
Before paid Assisted Help goes live, checkout terms should clearly state the price, what the customer receives, cancellation/refund rules and that payment is for guidance rather than a guaranteed registry outcome.
Use of the site
You must not misuse the service, impersonate another keeper, attempt unauthorised access to records, or use PetChipHelp to facilitate a fraudulent transfer or conceal a lost or stolen pet.
